A contemporary screenprint on paper titled “Chairs” by Ann Mikolowski. Hand signed in pencil and dated 1997 on the bottom right. Annotated IV/IV A.P. and titled bottom left. A pointillism composition depicting a line of Adirondack chairs in nature. Provenance: Alice Simsar Gallery, Ann Arbor. Dimensions: 21.75”h x 29.75”w (unframed). In very good vintage condition. Ann Mikolowski (1940-1999) was a twentieth-century American contemporary artist. She was a painter of portrait miniatures and waterscapes, as well as a printmaker and illustrator of printed matter. Mikolowski was part of Detroit's Cass Corridor artist movement and co-founder of The Alternative Press.
