Great loom for afghans, sweaters, capes, shawls, hats, scarves, and baby items. Works in single knit, double knit and works as a weaving loom. The 28" Knitting Board + peg extenders knits in single knit using up to 168 pegs, knits in double knit with 64 total stitches, or works as a weaving loom. Total Pegs: 168 Peg Spacing: 7/16" center to center of pegs Gauge approx. in single knit: 4 stitches = 1"(worsted weight). Gauge double knit: adjustable, vary by spacer setting and yarn used. Size: 28 x 3" Material: Solid hardwood with high grade nylon, grooved pins Maximum Knitting Width: 40 - 45" (depending on yarn and spacer used) We recommend worsted weight yarn when working in the round.
