Vegan: Yes Typicity: Typical, although their vineyards (La Ponche + Bel Air) are planted at the highest elevations for the region. Expect a bit more intensity than is found at lower elevations of the Rhone.  Winemaker: Thierry Faravel + Giles Faravel Bio: This domaine is very much a family affair. Antonin Faravel began working for Domaine Pierre Amadieu at age 14, eventually rising to the estate's vineyard manager. He began planting his owns vines on a parcel Antonin inherited in the shadow of the Dentelles de Montmirail after the frost of 1956 destroyed the grove of olive trees.
