Petite Antique French Carved Wood Chest of Drawers with White Marble Top

This small antique French commode features a white marble top with two small upper drawers and three lower. The front of this piece has fluted details at the sides and turnip-ball feet. The bail pull hardware is brass and has detailed decoration, and each of the lower drawers has key-hole escutcheons at center. Drawers have dovetail construction and are solid wood. The fronts of each drawer also feature decorative trim. Marble and chest are separate pieces and can be transported separately. Measures: 39.5" W x 20" D x 33.6" H. This piece is ideal for use in a powder room to hold a sink basin or as a bedside piece. The marble does have wear, minor losses, and discoloration is present (shown). The body of the chest has some surface wear present along with some slight spread in the side seams (shown) of the piece. See all images for details.
