This is a pairing of small landscape paintings sourced in France. They have matching gilt frames and the images are of mountainous areas with pine trees and a flowing river or lake with single figures in each (perhaps fishing). Each piece measures 10"W x 7.5"H. Sold as a pair. Surface wear and discoloration is present-- the varnish on these has yellowed significantly, but these could be restored and cleaned by an expert.
