This is a large, framed antique French religious etching in an antique French gilt frame. Titled "Le Christ Aux Anges" or Christ with the Angels by French artist Charles le Brun (1619-1690). The original painting was done in 1661, and the engraving was done by Gérard Edelinck, engraver of Louis XIV. This piece measures 36 1/8"W x 49 1/2"H x 1 1/4"D.
