"Sunset at Rocky Cove" Pastel Painting

I just happened to catch this gorgeous sunset one night and knew I had to paint it.  While I was able to take a few pictures, they did not capture the vivid colors seen in real life.  This painting captures the vibrant sunset as night descended on the cove.  The reflections on the water were magical to see. "Sunset at Rocky Cove" is a 36x24 pastel painting, framed to 43x31 About the collection: "The View from Rocky Cove" is a collection three years in the making.  This collection began as a way to remember one of my favorite places but became so much more as it continued to take shape.  This place will always hold a special place in my heart, and I hope you can feel that as you look at each piece. These pieces are created using mostly Pan Pastel, with a few pastel pencils for details.  This collection features the originals, plus prints and cards of most of the pieces.   *note, colors may vary slightly due to different monitor color profiles.
