Bird's Nest Fern
Asplenium nidus Also called the Nest Fern, this lovely and lush fern species is native to tropical southeastern Asia, eastern Australia, Hawaii, Polynesia, Christmas Island, India, and eastern Africa. It thrives in many tropical conditions, typically growing on tree branches and bark. Indoors, these ferns prefer medium to bright indirect light; filtered sunlight to shady conditions can also keep them happy growing outdoors. Since they're tropical plants, they thrive best in moist and humid environments, so if you have sufficient light in your bathroom, the humid conditions will help keep these ferns' leaves lush and bright! Keep this fern's soil moist (but not wet), especially throughout the hotter months. Watering once a week, or when the top layer (top 2") of soil dries out, and spritzing the leaves during heat waves should keep this fern happy and healthy for years to come! This plant is also completely safe for pets! __ If you’re worried about getting your water schedule right,
