Shou Sugi Ban Personalized Family Name Sign

“Shou Sugi Ban” or “Yakisugi” (being its other known name) is an Ancient Japanese method of firing timber to preserve it. The technique is inspired by nature and the woods natural textures and colors. Letters will be painted ivory. This sign is handmade sign to order. Wood is prepared in Shou Sugi Ban style. Burned then brushed down and colored to your choice.  Finished with a polyurethane for water resistance and UV protection. Available in two sizes (sizes are approximate) 5.5" or 7.5" Available in three widths (sizes are approximate) 16", 20", or 24"    Many colors available Shou Sugi Ban Images are for color reference.
