
Adjustments and Fitting: Stance, Canting and Alignment
Do you have difficulty getting on (or off!) your edges? Trouble turning to one side or the other? Feeling off balance on your skis? Perhaps during a lesson an instructor has suggested that you may need boot work to help solve a technique issue. Very few of us have anatomies perfectly suited to skiing. Being knock-kneed or bow-legged, or with inflexible ankles, for example, can hinder our progress toward better technique and ultimately our enjoyment on the hill. Fortunately these issues can be identified and addressed. This appointment begins with an assessment of your stance and alignment in your boots. We will use the results to suggest and implement fixes which may be simple inside-the-boot fixes involving heel lifts or tongue mods to more technical solutions such as sole canting or ramp angle changes. Customers should wear shorts or pants that can be easily rolled above the knees. There is a $100 deposit fee for this appointment. This fee will first be applied to labor and t
