New Balance's 993, an often overlooked model in their 99X series, stakes its claim to icon status with the 993 Made In The USA "Mushroom/Midnight Violet". Originally introduced in 2008, the 993 combines elements from the 991 and 992 into one streamlined silhouette. The upper construction sees olive suede panels underlaid with a pale yellow open weave mesh and dark olive leather accents with purple on the tongue and heel tab. Green laces and orange lining, white and purple N logo on the sides and a navy NB branded TPU heel clip fill in the details. The tan PU foam midsole features both ABZORB and ACTEVA cushioning while a blown rubber NDurance outsole provides superior durability.
