Rooster Tail Rhyolite Lapidary Cutting Rough Chunk

Rooster Tail Jasper, also known as Bullseye Jasper, is from Nevada.  It has bright red and sunset yellows, often forming a bullseye-typed pattern.  It can take an excellent polish, being a high silica chalcedony jasper.  Bullseye Jasper is also popular among flint knappers as it can create gorgeous arrowheads.     Weight: Approx 7 lbs Measurements (inches - longest - approx): 7.6 x 6.5 x 4 I do my best to represent the stones with photos.  I don't enhance pictures, though sometimes brightness and contrast on monitors may differ, and while an image may look just like the rock on my end, it will sometimes appear brighter or duller on your end.  I run my monitor using the default brightness and contrast settings.
