The inflorescence forms a delicate and soft "fluffy ball," resembling a "Silk Tree," in pink. The fruit is strap-shaped, with young fruit having a fuzzy exterior, while mature fruit lacks fuzz. Blooms in June-July, with fruiting occurring from August to October. A deciduous tree. The Mimosa tree grows rapidly, prefers sunlight, has moderate cold tolerance, and is resilient to drought and poor soil conditions, with low soil requirements and intolerance to waterlogging. The Mimosa tree has a spreading canopy, providing ample shade, and is at its best in terms of color and fragrance during the summer flowering season.
