Class: Sew the Carrier Bag with Evan! Wednesday March 26, 5:30-7:30PM

In this class, you’ll make The Carrier Bag by Merchant & Mills, a versatile and timeless bag perfect for everyday use. This beginner-friendly project will guide you through the steps of sewing a functional bag with a reinforced lining and beautifully finished seams. In this class Evan will cut out the pattern in advance so you’ll have more time to focus on sewing and finishing your bag. What You’ll Learn:    •    How to use bias binding to reinforce the bottom of the bag    •    Inserting a bagged lining for a professional look and durability    •    Basic sewing techniques and stitching in the ditch This class is perfect for confident beginners who have basic sewing skills, like threading your machine, sewing straight lines, and back-tacking. If you’re new to bag-making or want to expand your skills, this class is a great next step!
