UV Clarifiers eliminates green water algae blooms without any chemicals. It maximizes the contact time between algae and hight UV outputs. The UV bulb targets algae in a smaller/shorter space, allowing the UV light to penetrate deeper into the water, increasing efficiency. As water travels through the narrow chamber, water is directed to the UV bulb. The bulbs effectively neutralize single-celled algae particles that can then be removed by a mechanical filter. The maximum volume allowed by this unit is 6000 gallons of water. The inlet/outlet size is 2".
