ABOUT THE ARTIST:  Heather Water Originally from Southern California, I have spent the past 7 years living on the Big Island of Hawaii. I have a deep love, connection and respect for the ocean, which is where I draw most of my art inspiration from. I have been creative for as long as I can remember and studied art professionally at the Art Institute of San Francisco, California. As an artist, I work with all sorts of media including resin, acrylic, canvas, watercolor and alcohol inks. I like to use recycled mixed media such as old guitars, used surfboards and even trash from the beach in my art as well, to give things a new life. I am also a Female Boat Captain and spend most of my free time on the water. I have worked on the sea from Mexico to Alaska, Hawaii and Australia.   Instagram: @heatherwaterart
