DETAILS: 12" x 16" Digital Print on Fine Art Paper 2022 ABOUT THE ARTIST: Rae Broyles Born in Chicago, IL 1963 Rae is a 6th generation painter. Her formal studies took place at The American Institute of Art in Chicago and Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, Rhode Island. In the late 1980’s and 1990’s Rae had vibrant career as a creative director for various consumer product companies and agencies. Although painting all through those years, in 2001 Rae became a full-time painter and mixed media artist. She has continued her studies at Moulin de Perot in Southern France, Red Deer College in Alberta, Canada and Fine Arts Workshop in Atlanta, GA. Rae began teaching encaustic painting at Fine Arts Workshop in Atlanta in 2010 and has also been invited to teach at Red Deer College.  Her work has been shown in prestigious galleries in the US and notably, was accepted as one of 20 National Artists in the highly respected A.I.R.
