Overview The American Biotech Supply Standard Free Standing Undercounter Freezers are intended for general purpose applications only where precise temperature control and maintenance are not essential and there are no requirements for temperature alarms. These units feature a manual defrost operating system to limit product-damaging temperature spikes found in auto defrost units. Periodic manual defrosting is required. Warning: These units are not designed for built-in and/or enclosed installations. Improper installation will void the warranty and will lead to temperature maintenance issues, overheating and possible failure. Freestanding models (“UCFS”) require 4” of clearance around back and sides of the unit for proper ventilation.
