An absolute beauty of a record from Daniel Salinas. Atlantis was originally released in 1973 and still holds up to this day! Beautiful Brazilian Funk/Jazz/Disco with heavy cinematic grooves all packed into this incredible LP! Mr. Bongo really came in clutch with this reissue. 10/10 Highly Recommended! A conductor, pianist, arranger, and producer, he has worked across several genres within Brazil’s rich musical tapestry, including the Beatles-inspired Jovem Guarda movement, jazz-funk, and MPB to name just a few.
