Sodium Hydroxide 50% Solution, ACS/Reagent Grade

Sodium Hydroxide is an inorganic chemical that at ambient temperature appears as a white crystalline solid. It's also called "caustic" because of its strong basic nature, which releases a lot of heat when combined with water or neutralized with an acid. Its solution is very corrosive to metals and can cause severe irritation to skin tissues, eyes, and mucous membranes upon contact. Sodium Hydroxide 50% solution is made up of 50% pure Sodium Hydroxide and 50% deionized water.
