Launched in 1999, this label was conceived to create an elegant Bordeaux blend with a distinctive Tuscan touch. Collaborating with renowned nurseryman Gilbert Bouvet, they grafted Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot onto mature vineyards that thrive in the Tuscan terrain. Named after the Oreno stream that flows through the estate’s clay-rich area where the Merlot plants grow, this wine benefits from the region's ideal soil conditions. The pebbly soils, which ensure perfect drainage and self-regulate temperature and humidity, provide a natural home for Cabernet Sauvignon.
