Sterling Silver Moldavite Bezel Necklace 12x24mm

Our moldavite is individually hand set in a sterling silver bezel and hangs on a 24" sterling silver box chain. The approximate size of the stone is 12x24mm. This stone may have natural inclusions in it. This is one of a kind- one piece only!  Moldavites are a type of tektite, natural glass formed by the melting and cooling of silica sand or rock ejected into the atmosphere after a meteorite impact. Only the natural glass formed by the meteorite impact at Nördlinger Ries in Germany, about 15 million years ago, can be called moldavite. Many people believe that it came to Earth to help the planet to transcend its current metaphysical state and ascend to a higher planet.
