12 specially picked hand dyed fat eighths! Each piece is approximately 9" x 22"These fabrics are dyed with an uneven dye texture. The hand dyeing process creates one of a kind shifts in color that will bring beauty and a spirited hand to any project! Some fabrics have more modeling and color changes than others. Expect lighter or darker spots.All fabric has a fiber content of 55% linen and 45% cotton in natural, yarn-dyed, ivory and white and then overdyed with mx fiber reactive dye and washed again. The fabric is a bit heavier than traditional quilting cottons but has a beautiful texture from the linen. It has a very lived in look which is so comforting and cozy for home projects. The fabric has been washed a few times before coming to you so it is ready to be used right away. Some of the fibers stretch more than others so I suggest a light spray of water and dry iron.  Wash on a cool, gentle cycle and remove promptly to a low tumble dry. Darker colors such as navy and deeper pinks, reds have a tendency to bleed a bit. I suggest washing with an old towel or sheet to give the fabrics a little cushion when in the washer and dryer. If paired with whites or very light colors use a color catcher. ***Because each fabric has a different shrinkage rate the measurements are approximate.
