The Herring Net by Winslow Homer THE STORY OF TECHNOLOGY: In 2021, through our collaboration with the National Oil Painting Museum at Dolmabahçe Palace in Istanbul, we developed a technology that allows us to reproduce oil paintings (3d) with a high degree of realism and transform them into souvenirs for sale in the museum shop. As a result of this collaboration, we refined our printing technique by comparing our prints with original oil paintings over the course of a year, achieving a high level of realism. This technique is not a simple brush intervention on a 2D print. It is not a giclée print, which is a 2D fine art print. Instead, it is a groundbreaking technique that combines various disciplines to produce a unique result. This technique uses artificial intelligence to convert a 2D artwork into a 3D form and creates a 3D print of the artwork without the need for 3D scanning.
