The Torah crown is made of two cylindershapes. The inner ring reminds one of the hills of Jerusalem: “For from Zion willgo forth the Torah and the word of G-d from Jerusalem.”The outer ring is suspended by golden balls ornamented with a quotation fromthe Bible. A matching breastplate completes the composition. The Yad, a flatpiece of sterling silver, was shaped to resemble the Torah parchment. A secondgold-plated piece of silver completes the design. The space between the twointertwined pieces of silver allows a comfortable grip. Adorning the Yad are goldplatedballs. A sterling silver chain allows the Yad to dangle from the Torah
