A few years ago, we traveled to Peru and visited the iconic site of Machu Picchu. We expected it to be amazing but were not fully prepared for the overwhelming sense of awe and spiritual connection we experienced. We realized we had only scratched the surface of all the treasures in the magnificent Andes, and the beautiful people that embody one of the most spiritually rich cultures in the world. We vowed to return someday.
