Kraken Reef Evaporation Cover (Only compatible with Kraken Reef lids)

Kraken Reef evaporation covers allow you to have that convertible top option. This removable solid polycarbonate piece is designed to help reduce water evaporation in your aquarium. The cover will be made from 1/4" nominal clear polycarbonate. The cover is secured in place on your lid by a machined lip around the perimeter of the cover, with the inner portion of the cover being recessed below the top of the lid. Note: Condensation may accumulate on the underside of the cover, potentially reducing light output (PAR) into the aquarium. Additionally, the weight of the cover may cause noticeable deflection, resulting in plastic deformation. Considering these factors, we recommend utilizing an ATO (Auto Top Off) system to manage water evaporation loss instead of an evaporation cover. By using the cover, you acknowledge and accept these potential drawbacks. Only compatible with Kraken Reef lids, lid not included.
