BMW M52TU, M54, M56 Master Camshaft Alignment Timing Tool with Double Vanos Straight 6

Master tool set contains a comprehensive set of tools to perform camshaft + VANOS timing on M52TU, M54, M56 Engines.  The tools are also applicable for camshaft timing on non-VANOS engines (M42, M44, M50, M52, MS50US and S52US).  The kit includes the following:   BMW Double VANOS Camshaft Alignment Tool: This five-piece kit contains all the tools necessary to assemble and time the VANOS cam-timing units on BMW M52TU, M54 and M56 6-cylinder engines utilized from 1998 onwards.  Pieces included:  Alignment jig (large aluminum item in photo),  Sprocket assembly jig (large rectangular black item in photo),  Rigid chain tensioner (cylindrical black / threaded item in photo),  Chain tensioner lock pin, and  VANOS compressed air connector (top right of case in photo).  BMW VANOS Sprocket Wrench M50 M52 S50 S52: Special wrench designed specifically to turn camshaft sprockets when removing or installing the VANOS variable valve timing unit.   BMW 4 & 6 Cylinder Camshaft Alignment / Timing
