Cavandoli Macrame Wall Hanging with Center Diamonds

Cavandoli (also spelled Kavandoli) is the a unique technique that uses vertical clove hitch knots and alternating different colors to create patterns within a macrame piece. It is labor intensive but creates beautiful designs.  The main body of this piece is a creamy natural soft cotton 3mm rope. The geometric design is made with mauve and denim colored 2mm cotton rope. It is hung from natural Long Island driftwood.  Measurements: 16.5" wide by 29" long. Driftwood piece is 28" long.
