CHALLENGER II MBT (IRAQ WAR)
The Challenger 2 Main Battle Tank is the current MBT of the British Army and represents the culmination of 80 years of tank design. Its development began in 1986. In 1987, the design was presented to the Ministry of Defence in response to a requirement to replace the Chieftain MBT that had been partially superseded by the Challenger 1 MBT. Production began in 1993, and the tank finally entered service in 2002. This tank recently appeared in Iraq, where it proved indispensable during the battle of Basra. _x000D_ Item No 07215 _x000D_ Item Name Challenger II MBT(Iraq War) _x000D_ Bar Code 6922803672151 _x000D_ Scale 1:72 _x000D_ Item Type Static Vehicle _x000D_ Model Brief Length: 161.2mm Width: 51.4mm Height:41.4mm _x000D_ Total Parts 105pcs _x000D_ Metal Parts n/a _x000D_ Photo Etched Parts n/a _x000D_ Film Parts n/a _x000D_ Resin Parts n/a _x000D_ Total Sprues 7pcs _x000D_ Paint Schemes British ARMY _x000D_ Released Date n/a _x000D_ More Features n/a
