LOBSTAH SWEATER KIT
Whitney Terrell describes her newest project, "The Lobstah Sweater...As a child we came up the coast a few summers to vacation in Maine at a familyfriends’ fish camp. Those summers are jewels in the crown of my childhood memories. Long days, clear water and visits with Darrel and Marie. We swam endlessly, visited Acadia and ate lobster on the porch of the of the camp. I was 13, and if I close my eyes I can be back there in a second. The Lobstah Sweatah is the physical embodiment of those summer memories, workedup as a gender neutral sweatshirt style sweater. The sweater is knit from the top down, with some short row shaping to raise the back of the neck for comfort. The colorwork chart is started after the short rows and continues to the underarm separation.Once working the body and sleeves, a stripe pattern is introduced. This 6 row repeatmakes knitting engaging as you wait for the next stripe to emerge. For the sleeves it allows for easy decreases tracking! Finish everything off with
