Modular KNITTING PATTERN: NoBreaks Pooled Cowl

This design uses simple modular squares, but with the addition of a couple of interesting variations that make this project truly exciting to knit.Using a single skein of variegated yarn and pooled knitting allows you to knit this entire piece without breaking the yarn even once. The precise use of both stockinette and reverse stockinette allow the contrast stripe to literally pop out from the stockinette stitch background.Because this pattern is entirely dependent upon your yarn, this is a description of the process, rather than stitch-by-stitch directions. Besides creating a lovely cowl, this is a fun exercise in letting your yarn guide the knitting process.
