 By Stephen West "Simple garter stitch plus simple shaping makes a simply beautiful and casual shawl! I made this shawl on the beach during a vacation at Lido Itaca in Pineto, Italy. The Artisan linen lace created a fluid fabric that is perfect to wear as a casual wrap in warmer climates. The asymmetrical triangular shape is worked from tip to tip with stripes in the center. I found shells with holes on the beach that I incorporated into one of the shawl’s edges.
