The PVS-14 is one of the most versatile and budget friendly devices available today for those looking to getting into night vision. The PVS-14 can be helmet/rifle mounted, or simply just used as a handheld device while on the go. Another added benefit with the PVS-14, is the use of 11769 style tubes in them. 11769 tubes have a manual gain lead off of the tube, which is a huge benefit when changing between different lighting conditions as well as environments (desert and snowy areas).
