Bog Oak Block (K&G Stabilized) - BGO14

Little known fact….  Bog oak is often not oak!  It can be any wood that has been submerged for a LONG period of time (typically 1,000 - 7,000 years) in certain conditions.  Usually peat bogs.  Ok, we'll stop with the boring history lesson now.Very beautiful wood, with great streaks of minerals. This piece will finish very dark if taken to a high grit, and finished with wax. Stabilized by the professionals at K&G.  Home stabilizing is great, but if you want the highest quality, most consistent results, you need professional level equipment and resin.  K&G has continually proven to us that their process is worth the extra cost.
