Jonathan's Hot Take Description: This new offering from CMT is one of the top professional thin kerf general purpose blades on the market for good reason. The carbide teeth are massive compared to similar blades, and it’s amazing at removing minimal material while keeping the cut cool.  When I’m doing a bunch of random cuts in hard or soft wood, this is the blade I reach for. Because it has 40 teeth at a high angle, it really excels at getting decent rip and crosscuts, especially in plywood and thinner hard or softwoods (less than 1"). If you're cutting thicker than that, I would go with dedicated rip or crosscut blades.  My general purpose blade is tied with my combination blade as the most used blade in the shop.
