The Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K is equipped with a 4/3" sensor, enabling the capture of DCI 4K images at a resolution of 4096 x 2160 and frame rates reaching up to 75 fps. It supports a range of codecs, including Blackmagic Raw at various bit rates and multiple ProRes 422 options. With the introduction of the 6.6 update, the BMPCC 4K can now achieve frame rates of up to 80 fps in a 2.8K raw mode for 4:3 anamorphic recording, as well as maintaining 75 fps in a 4K raw mode with a 2.4:1 aspect ratio. Users can benefit from a 2x de-squeeze preview for 4:3 recordings and a 1.33x de-squeeze option. Additionally, slow-motion capabilities extend to 120 fps in 2.6K raw for Super16 lenses and in cropped Full HD. The 6.6 update enhances usability by adding support for the Pocket Battery Grip and incorporating a built-in horizon level feature.
