18K Gold Diamond and Wire Ball Dangle Earrings

We love that these 18k gold diamond earrings express the dynamic of order and chaos. The earrings are handmade of delicate 18k gold wire, wrapped into ball-like tangles. The tangles are messy, but contained within the clean lines of geometric spheres. A larger ball dangles on a gold bar from a smaller ball, giving the earrings graceful movement. The openwork of the delicate wires allows light to pass through the gold for a lacy effect—though the wires look delicate, they are well-constructed and welded together, their fragility only an illusion.  Interspersed in the gold balls are single cut diamonds that add sparkle and bring a bit a je ne sais quoi to these stunning earrings.  There are 16 single cut diamonds for a total weight of 1/4 of a carat.
