The Wild

A curious child in a green costume looks across a lake at several monsters. THe largest of them has horns, a big red nose, and his head floats above his body. Inspired by Maurice Sendak, this piece was part of a series exploring paying tribute to my influences without necessarily being "fan art." I wanted to explore using similar motifs and symbolism while still creating something very much in the colorful, surreal realm where most of my artwork lives. 10x14" Print on canvas with resin coating. Due to the hand poured nature of resin, there may be small imperfections and inconsistencies on the surface and each print will vary slightly.
