As the artisans carve away a single piece of olive wood. They are sanded to reveal a smooth finish where the beautiful olive wood grain is revealed. The handles of these servers have a bone inlay that is made from highly polished and sanitized cow bone that has been dyed with African designs. CARE AND MAINTENANCE Hand-wash only. Polish with any food-safe oil or wood conditioner often. Store at room temperature in a dry place.
