In Turkish. 32, [1] p., 1 folding huge -double elephant folio- color lithographed map, (64 x 79 cm) with explanatory text. Occasionally foxing on the covers and some pages, several period marginal notes in pencil in the booklet; the map is very clean. Otherwise, a very good and complete set. A scarce map in an explanatory booklet on Turkestan, published in Early Republican Turkey. It’s very detailed on Turkish / Turkic peoples, autonomous states, and states' borders from the Caspian Sea and Caucasus to Eurasia; Turkestan, Central, and Siberia; China and its environment. The map is translated from a Russian military map with a 1:4.200.000 scale prepared by Zeki Velidi Togan, and mapped by Behçet Begit, who was an official cartographer of the Map Directory of Turkey.
