Keystone Pond Pellets are an economical diet that are well suited for most pond fish, including Bluegill, Channel Catfish, Hybrid Bluegill and Koi. These extruded floating pellets contain 35% protein for rapid growth, and all the necessary vitamins and minerals needed for health and vitality. Feeding: Only feed what the fish will eat within a couple of minutes. Feed either in the same location or on the windward side of the pond. Avoid over-feeding because uneaten pellets can cause an accumulation of excess nutrients in the water, which can promote weed & algae growth. If water quality deteriorates, you should decrease feeding amount or frequency until it improves. Begin feeding once or twice a week in the spring, when the water temperature goes above 50°F. When the water is above 60°F you can increase to daily feedings if increased growth is desired. When the water drops below 50°F, discontinue feedings.
