Original oil on canvas with frame size 27"x37"x1.5". “The field’s beauty enhanced by drop of rain,   A clod fragrance distance from spring.” Yellow is a strong color that in its pure  state can enhance a landscape. In this oil painting, blue and purple are use in the distance to contrast the yellow foreground to create the space. I like to paint the complexity of colors with a variety of strokes, layer after layer. From start to finish, each painting may take more than a month. I paint mainly with the palette knife to produce heavy textures and occasionally, in my final touches, use a brush.
