For some Indigenous Pueblo cultures, the magnificent red-tailed hawk is known as a red Eagle. In Zuni tradition, a Hawk is considered to be the little brother to eagle. Red-tailed hawks have a unique and classic coat of brownish feathers shaped like a V. They are monogamous, mating for life.
