S2 - Aluminum Spinning Top in Translucent Violet

The S2 is Kemner Design's newest top. It is our second generation starter top, giving the KD Starter a well deserved facelift. The S2 is crafted in 6061 Aluminum and features gently rounded curves and two decorative grooves around the outer edge with an easy to grip knurled spindle. It has a 440C hardened stainless steel bearing for it's spin point. A translucent violet powder coat was applied to its polished surface to create the purple color that you see. The S2 was crafted on a CNC lathe followed by hand finishing and knurling of its stem on a manual lathe. While spin times will vary with practice and experience, the S2 has an average spin time of 3-5 minutes and during performance testing I achieved a spin time of 5:46 minutes.
