Born in Rockford, Illinois, Carol Sadtler earned a BA in English at Knox College and an MA in Comparative Literature at the University of Maine. She began to write poetry while she worked as a magazine editor and marketing communications writer for organizations in the Midwest and Eastern US. She served as an assistant editor at RHINO and is a member of Plum Line Poets. Her poems and reviews appear in River Heron Review, One Art, Sky Island Journal, Big City Lit, The Inflectionist, Rise Up, The Humanist, Pacific Review, RHINO, and other publications.
