Aged for ten years in ex-Bourbon barrels, Batch 13 is barrier-filtered to remove unwanted char particles then bottled directly from the barrel. Tasting Notes:  Color: It's vibrant tawny color reflects the full strength of this whisky, hitting at the complex notes drawn from the charred oak.  Nose: The nuanced aroma reveals whiffs of sweet cereals, fresh oak and pipe tobacco with touches of leather, nutmeg, and vanilla. Palate: The Original Cask Strength is sweet with spicy notes of vanilla, toffee, and sea salt along with hints of cinnamon and pepper.  Finish: Long finish with lingering spice, oak tannins, iodine, and sea salt.
