Hibiscus MCM Espresso Cups with Saucers

Maybe it's because it's dry January (Jk, LOL) but we're very into the cozy beverage vibes lately.  Perhaps that's why we fell so deeply in love with this cheery set, in a pattern so fit for paradise, we're overlooking the piles of snow outside.  Now, we occasionally run into challenges identifying pieces that are unmarked; rarely do we run into challenges tracing the origins of pieced with very clear marks, like this elusive group.  Marked 'Ambient' and Karidi, we're truly stumped as to where these originated, and even the internet isn't giving up the secret.  We have our theories about Greece or Turkey but we're settling for what we do know:  these porcelain pieces are so nicely maintained for their mid-century styling, and we just adore the poppy color, and vibrant hibiscus pattern (imagine this as wallpaper!).  Dainty yet bold, these are begging to be brought out for after-dinner espresso with friends.  Set of 6 Mid-Century Espresso or Tea Mug & Saucers, Marked Ambient Karidi
