Pansies Quilt

Pansies Quilt Unknown Quilt MakerCirca 194074 x 101 inchesOrigin Unknown; Found in Nebraska Wonderful handwork in this mid-20th century Pansies quilt.  The applique, quilting, and embroidery are all exceptionally well executed.  I love the hand done French knots in the middle of each flower. Of a generous size (which could work on a modern bed), this scalloped quilts is in Excellent Condition, save for some slight fading in the lower corner.  I did not see it until I took photos of the quilt; the camera has exaggerated it.  It's less obvious in real life.
