Tea Bowl Workshop & Ceremony

We are thrilled to be collaborating with Laurel Fais and Christine Parks from Camellia Forest Tea Gardens for this workshop! Over the course of 4 classes, you will be introduced to tea bowl aesthetics, make your very own tea bowls, and end with a tea ceremony at the gardens.   Class dates and times: registration opening Sept 7th Fall 2024  Wednesday, November 13th 1-4pm Wednesday,  November 20th 1-3pm Wednesday,  December 4th 1-3pm Ceremony date December 11th 1-3pm This class will be held at Camellia Forrest Tea Gardens. All materials are included, as well as an open studio session if needed. Each participant will make at least 2 tea bowls. All classes will be at the studio, except the last one.  Please note that being comfortable with the pottery wheel is necessary. Due to the nature of the workshop, make-up classes are unavailable.
